WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — The holiday season is just about here, and the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce is introducing its "12 Days of Shopping" to encourage buying from local businesses in December. The Holiday Retail Campaign, which will go from December 1-12, will feature at least 45 businesses in Williston where people can shop with a chance to win prizes. Every participating business will have a raffle box where shoppers can enter to win a prize. Shoppers are allowed to enter at every participating business, and the announcement of winners will take place at the Williston Downtowner’s Holiday Stroll on Dec. 13th at 6:30 p.m. in the dining area of Thai Tasty. Veterans library to give kids “Story Time with Mrs. Claus” Another way to get into the holiday spirit in Williston is by buying digital Chamber Bucks. These give shoppers a digital gift card backed by Mastercard that they can use at participating locations. You can also win Chamber Bucks if caught by Chamber Ambassadors wearing the official Holiday Retail Campaign Button, which was designed by Cadence Jacobs, a student at Williston High School. You can pick a button up at Williston ARC, Williston Community Library, James Memorial Art Center, or the Williston Convention & Visitors Bureau.
