It's already shot up to #16 on the charts, right behind "APT." by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. On the Global 200 chart, it's already at #9. It's not the first Christmas song to enter the chart, though. Wham's "Last Christmas" appeared on the chart again this week at #38. It's since moved up to #24. "All I Want For Christmas is You" has appeared in the #1 position for five consecutive years between 2019 and 2023, the most for any song. It has reached #1 a total of six times. Over the years, the song has become cemented in popular culture, spawning numerous memes. Carey has even gotten in on the act herself.
