BETHESDA, Md. (DC News Now) -- Multiple lanes were shut down after a multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer Tuesday afternoon. A spokesperson for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, Pete Piringer, said the crash happened on the southbound lanes of Interstate 270, south of Montrose Road. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
