KTLA -- Authorities were pursuing the driver of a fleeing Maserati near West Adams Tuesday afternoon.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the driver is wanted for alleged domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.
The pursuit began just before 12:30 p.m., though the pursuit remains a "fluid situation," said Officer Jader Chaves.
Though speeds have remained relatively low, the Maserati driver has weaved into oncoming traffic and used alleyways and parking lots in an attempt to evade police.

He eventually parked his car at a few minutes after 1 p.m. and started walking on foot before an officer located him and a gunfight ensued. The driver, who was armed with a pair of guns, looked to be struck at least once, though it remains to be seen how extensive those wounds could be.
Three women could be seen being taken away in handcuffs by officers, though their connection to the pursuit wasn't immediately clear.
