SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A weak atmospheric river has not moved much since Monday, bringing light showers north of San Diego and Orange counties.
The moisture associated with it will slide southward this evening, but San Diego will miss out on much of the rain. At best, there are chances for isolated drizzle to light rain, mainly north of State Route 52 in the overnight hours into Wednesday morning.

Heading closer to Thanksgiving, a weak upper level ridge builds and will lead to a slow warming and drying trend into the weekend.
Daytime highs for Wednesday will be in the mid-60s for coastal regions, low 70s for valleys, upper 50s for mountains and mid-70s for deserts. Not much change is expected for Thursday at the coast with slightly warmer afternoon weather inland on Thanksgiving.
There will be a mix of sunshine and clouds over the next few days with moderate conditions.
