SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Along with many major retailers and public services countywide, administrative offices operated by the city of San Diego will also be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday this Thursday. What public offices and services will be closed on Thanksgiving in San Diego County? The city services and offices that are open or closed on Thanksgiving are below: What's closed? All city of San Diego administrative offices The Office of the City Clerk will also be closed Friday. Curbside trash, recyclables and organic waste will not be collected for customers served by the city’s Environmental Services Department. Miramar Landfill, Greenery, Recycling Center, Mattress Collection Site and Container Sales (trash and recycling bins) There will be no street sweeping on Thursday and Friday. All city libraries will be closed Thursday and Friday. Swimming pools and recreation centers operated by the city will be closed Thursday and Friday. Public buildings in Balboa Park, including the Municipal Gym, Morley Field and Balboa Park Activity Center will be closed Thursday and Friday. The Personnel Department’s testing and background/fingerprinting offices All City reservoirs Mission Trails Regional Park Visitor Center Parks and Recreation Department Open Space, Permit Center and Maintenance Assessment District offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Tecolote Nature Center will be closed Thursday and Friday. Development Services Department permitting services will be closed Thursday and Friday. Online services will still be available. Your Safe Place - A Family Justice Center will be closed Thursday and Friday. Individuals needing help related to domestic violence should call the Domestic Violence Hotline at 888-385-4657. Mission Trails Regional Park Chollas Lake Tecolote Canyon Natural Park Golf courses operated by the city (holiday rates apply) Mission Bay Golf Course will close at dusk. City skate parks and plazas and the Pacific Highlands Ranch Pump Track at 5977 Village Center Loop Rd. Dog off-leash areas San Diego Police and San Diego Fire-Rescue emergency crews Additionally, the city will not be enforcing parking meters or time restrictions on streets within San Diego, yellow zones and posted street sweeping routes. The street sweeping routes will also not be enforced on Friday. However, all other parking violations not listed will still be enforced, according to the city.
