Three Springfield residents face gun charges after traffic stop on Carlisle Street

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Three men from Springfield face gun charges after police discovered a firearm inside a vehicle during a traffic stop on Carlisle Street.
At around 8:50 p.m. last Friday, officers saw a vehicle without a front license plate and conducted a traffic stop as the car parked on Carlisle Street. The inquiry of the vehicle revealed that it was unregistered, uninsured, and had excessive tint. Due to the vehicle's status, a tow was called in and an inventory search was conducted.

Police found a loaded firearm with 16 rounds of ammunition next to the center console. The three occupants were arrested and charged with the following:
