Albuquerque home undergoing repairs left 'uninhabitable' by fire

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A home that was undergoing repairs caught fire Monday night, according to Albuquerque Fire Rescue.

Crews responded to the home at 3017 Camino De La Sierra NE near Tramway and Candelaria after around 7:03 p.m. Officials said there was a fire in the attic that spread throughout the void space and was too far developed for interior operations to continue.
No one was in the home, and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental, created during repairs being done to the home. The damage left the house uninhabitable, AFR said.
