CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Do you have space for a furry friend this Thanksgiving? Chesterfield County Animal Services is looking for fosters to care for dogs and cats over the holiday week. According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, fostering would span over Thanksgiving week through Dec. 2, and all necessities for the pets' care would be provided. Those interested in fostering are asked to call 804-748-1683, Option 2, and then set up a time to meet some of the shelter's animals. To foster, you must be a Chesterfield County resident, according to police.
