Sunshine and seasonable temperatures Wednesday will make for pleasant travel conditions across the Northeast. Highs in Southern New England will be right around 50. It would be a good idea to leave Wednesday if at all possible with a (much needed) soaking rain on the way for Thanksgiving. Those traveling far inland will have to be the most cautious Thursday, as rain will change to snow at the high elevations of the Berkshires and beyond. Skied will clear Thursday night and sunshine is in order for Black Friday and the rest of the holiday weekend, but it will be turning colder and windier each day.
