Pipes shift through 18wheeler cab causing oil leak in Pearl River

PEARL RIVER, La. (WGNO) — The right lane of Interstate 59 in Pearl River has reopened after three pipes shifted into the cab of an 18-wheeler on Tuesday, Nov. 26.

The St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 reported that an 18-wheeler driver avoided injury after three solid pipes shifted through the truck's cabs and into the engine.

St. Tammany Parish fire officials said the driver had to make a quick stop to avoid hitting other vehicles.
An A1 wrecker and the Pearl River Police Department assisted with the response and traffic as the right lane was closed.
