Students pursuing degrees in healthcare in southeast Kentucky have a few extra reasons to be thankful this holiday season. The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education announced a total of $91,000 in new scholarships for students at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College. According to a news release, $70,000 will be for nursing students and the remainder for those studying to become physical therapist assistants.
