INDIANAPOLIS — Triton Brewing Company and Bistro in Lawrence will permanently close next month. According to one of the business' Facebook posts, Dec. 14 will be Triton Brewing Company's last day of operation. In the post, the business' owners invited patrons to come in, have a beer and share some memories on the brewery's last day open. Triton Brewing Company has been in business for 13 years. The company indicated that supply line challenges, a soft labor market, ever-shrinking margins, the attenuation of the craft beer market and increased competition were the factors that forced it shut down. "Sometimes you find a place or a moment in time that feels magical, a break from the mundane and the monotony," Triton Brewing Company's management team wrote in a Facebook post. "A place where, even though things aren’t perfect, they feel more perfect than anywhere else. For us, this special place was Triton Brewing Company — the realization of a dream. Unfortunately, such magical places don’t last forever. "While we are sad to go, we want to spend our remaining days celebrating with our friends and family who have made these last 13+ years amazing."
