WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Crews are on the scene of a fire in Winston-Salem. A Winston-Salem fire battalion chief confirmed a working fire at Sunrise Towers in Winston-Salem, where crews can be seen at the building. The cause and severity of the fire are unknown. The fire department shared on X: "Units operating a high rise fire at Sunrise towers. Units were dispatched to a reported fire alarm and while investigating the seventh floor, units encountered fire conditions in one of the units. South MLK is closed. Be alert if in the area."
