High temperatures today were much different than yesterday's highs around 60°. Highs reached only the low 40s, much closer to seasonal averages. For the evening, we're experiencing temperatures falling out of the 40s and into the 30s. By morning, we'll be as low as the low 30s. Temperatures falling to the low 30s tonight. Our next weather system is moving in tonight and our sky becomes cloudy, again. Tomorrow starts off precipitation-free, but rain will be headed in to some spots by the afternoon and evening. The farther north you are in the area, the lower your chance of seeing precipitation. Some rain/snow possible late Wednesday night into Thanksgiving morning, especially to the south of Fort Wayne. The rain will be mixed with snow, if not becoming all snow, at times, into Thanksgiving morning. Both rain and snow accumulation will be light. No major travel impacts are anticipated. Only a light coating of snow is possible in the areas that see the snow showers.Rainfall amounts will be light from this system. For tomorrow's "Night of Lights" in Fort Wayne, you can expect the chance of some rain showers. Temps fall from the low 40s at 5 pm to the upper 30s by 8 pm. The first downtown holiday lights will be lit at 6 pm. Chilly and a chance for some rain during "Night of Lights" tomorrow Most of the rain/snow shower potential exits by Thanksgiving morning at sunrise. However, there's just a slight chance we could see a passing rain shower or snow shower during the day. Local travel around northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio should be smooth to get to your Thanksgiving celebrations. Thanksgiving afternoon high temperatures will be around 40°. We've been talking for days now about a blast of cold coming after Thanksgiving and this big chill remains on track. High temps will be in the mid-upper 20s from Friday through the weekend.
