Summerville railroad crossing blocked after incident, police say

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – An incident involving a train blocked off a railroad crossing in Summerville Tuesday evening, according to police.
The railroad arms are down at North Maple Street, North Hickory Street, and Industrial Road.
Summerville Police told News 2 that a train conductor reported he “may have clipped a car” at the N Maple St. crossing.
No injuries resulted from the incident.
Drivers should expect delays in the area. Police did not give an estimate for when the railroad arms will go up.
