BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A woman caught a heartwarming moment between a Bakersfield police officer and a young boy playing catch in central Bakersfield. Tiffany Denio recorded video Monday afternoon of a Bakersfield police officer taking a break to play catch with a boy outside of Crush Ice Market on Chester Avenue and 10th Street. KGET, The Open Door Network host Holiday Pie Drive Nov. 26 at Compassion Corner Denio told 17 News, "In a world of so much ugliness currently, it was great to see!" She also posted the video to social media and with the caption, "This officer is a hero today, well done officer."
