FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Tuesday Evening,
It has been a beautiful and nearly seasonal day today with temps in the mid to upper 40s, and this will likely be the warmest we will be for a while. Temps tonight will only drop to around freezing (give or take a couple of degrees) as clouds increase. Clouds will be thick to start the day on Wednesday, with rain showers possible late day with highs again in the middle to near upper 40s. Once the rain starts to pick up, temps will start falling overnight into Thursday.
Expect some wet mix early Thursday morning, and changing over to cold rain showers during the morning hours on Thursday. What does fall, should melt on road surfaces, as again, temps have remained above freezing for much of the past few days, and will remain overnight, keeping the ground temps on roads well above freezing. As temps slowly warm on Thanksgiving day, expect a change to mostly cold rain showers as temps push to the lower 40s.
Colder air will move in for Friday, with breezy conditions and partly sunny skies, can't rule out some light flurries flying on Friday with highs only in the lower 30s. Sunshine will return more on the weekend, but with cold temps. Temps should start near 20 on Saturday/Sunday mornings, and with sunshine will climb only to the lower 30s at best. Monday will be much the same with partly cloudy skies and highs just below freezing.
Monday night may end up being the coldest of the season so far, by a degree or two, mainly because we will have less cloud cover into Tuesday, and this will keep temps in the upper teens and highs around freezing on Tuesday.
