ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The New York State Thruway has been shut down after a tanker truck caught fire Tuesday morning near Le Roy. Traffic cameras on the thruway show the vehicle engulfed in flames with thick black smoke rising in the air. The fire is out and traffic was diverted onto 490. Most of the lanes in the area have re-opened. News 8 is heading to the scene and will update this story as more information is revealed.
