ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are investigating after a man was found with a deadly gunshot wound on Copley St. The Rochester Police Department arrived in the area around 2 p.m. and found the victim, who was in his 30s, with a significant gunshot wound to his lower body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he died. Investigators say it appears this was an accidental/self-inflicted gunshot wound. The name of the victim has not been released. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 911.
