The Colonial Valley Conference cross country coaches recently selected their All-League teams, with top runners Allison Lee of West Windsor-Plainsboro North and West Windsor-Plainsboro South’s Shravan Pradeep highlighting the lists. Lee was the big star on the girls side. The junior set new course records at Robbinsville (17:28) and Thompson Park (17:46) and delivered a PR of 18:24 at the Meet of Champions to finish third at Holmdel Park. Lee, who should be in for a big spring on the track in the distance events, ended the fall with the second quickest 5K time overall when she posted that 17:28.10 at the CVC Divisional Meet at Robbinsville. Lee was joined on the first team by senior teammate Zui Chinchalkar (13th at MoC), the Princeton trio of junior Kajol Karra (12th at MoC), sophomores Grace Hegedus (26th at MoC) and Eowyn Deees (MoC qualifier), Hopewell Valley senior Claire Dumont (30th MoC) and Ewing senior Teagan Walker (MoC qualifier). It was also a banner year for the Princeton High girls as they won the Group IV team title for the first time and placed second at the Meet of Champions behind only powerful Union Catholic. While Lee was dominating the girls field, Pradeep was doing the same on the boys side. The South senior won the CVC Championship at Thompson Park and capped off his campaign by taking 12th in a time of 16:07 at the Meet of Champs at Holmdel Park. Pradeep’s 12th place finish was the best by a CVC boy since Allentown’s Liam Murphy won it in 2019.
