City of Albuquerque hosting series of community meetings on homelessness

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The city of Albuquerque is looking to hear from the community about housing and homelessness in the metro. The city is hosting a series of community meetings called "Constructive Conversations."

The city will host three meetings, all focused on the Metro Homelessness Initiative. Projects discussed at the meetings include the Albuquerque Community Safety department, the Housing, Health and Homelessness department, the Gateway Centers, affordable housing and conversion projects, and redevelopment efforts. The city says all three meetings will cover the same topics. Community members attending meetings are encouraged to bring winter clothing donations.
Constructive Conversations schedule:
December 7, Albuquerque Convention Center. 1- 3 p.m.
December 11, Bear Canyon Senior Center. 6 - 8 p.m.
December 12, Westgate Community Center. 6 - 8 p.m.
