SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) -- A third captive elk was shot on Friday, in a recent Facebook post from the Clark County Sheriff's office.

The young elk appeared to be shot from Thursday night, Nov. 21, with a pass through wound in the abdomen area, the post said.
This is the third elk shot in the last three weeks. Two other bulls were found a few weeks earlier.
"The investigation continues as Law Enforcement seeks any information that may lead to these acts. These elk are not only someone’s property, but a staple of a family history," the post said.
The family that owns the elk has raised the reward to $5,000 for anyone that comes forward with information that may lead to an arrest or conviction.
