OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating what led to a pursuit that ended with two people dead. Mannford Police called for OHP backup around 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The chase ended on Highway 16 near 321 West Avenue in Creek County. Troopers used a tactical maneuver to stop the vehicle they were pursuing. The two people in that vehicle didn't survive. Investigators are trying to piece together what made the driver decide to try to outrun police.
