HONOLULU (KHON2) -- Mom is the sole provider of a family of five and is finding times especially difficult because of a recent diagnosis. Recently, Mom was diagnosed with stage two uterine cancer and just finished a round of chemotherapy. Lahaina family of 5 in need of laulima for holiday season She was on family and medial leave, which was helpful, but that meant a decrease in income, making it hard to keep up with bills. She went against her doctor's recommendation and went back tow work earlier than planned. All the girls, ages eight, 10, 13 and 16 could use clothes, shoes and slippers, plus bedding and a twin-sized bed. The two older girls would love a little makeup. Mom could use household items, from laundry and dishwater soap to towels and toiletries. Gift cards would also help a lot. This family is Samoan and they would love Samoan cultural items.
