Three chain restaurants – including the first Greensboro location of Whataburger – are coming to a Koury development in a heavy commercial corridor. Chipotle and Starbucks are set to open in the next few months after completing their interior build-outs, Mike Longmore, senior vice president at Koury Corp., confirmed to Triad Business Journal. Whataburger, the Texas-based chain, will be built in the development, according to a building permit with the city of Greensboro. Koury’s online portfolio notes that a “national burger” chain will be on a parcel between the Chipotle and existing Chick-fil-A; Longmore was unable to confirm that it was Whataburger.
