NORWAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin say a school bus was left upside down in a shallow pond following a crash Tuesday morning.
According to a release from the Racine County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded at 6:11 a.m. to reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus on State Highway 36 and South Wind Lake Road in the Town of Norway.
Upon arrival, deputies say they determined that the school bus was traveling west on South Wind Lake Road and stopped at the stop sign on State Highway 36 but failed to yield the right of way to a Pontiac sedan heading south.

The Pontiac then reportedly crashed into the school bus causing it to overturn and land on its roof in the water of a small pond.
Officials say there were no injuries during this incident and only the driver was on board at the time of the crash. No students were on the bus at the time and the pond was only a few feet deep.
At this time, no other information is available and deputies are working to remove the school bus from the scene of the incident.
