NEW TOWN, ND (KXNET) — One person was killed early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash 14 miles west of New Town. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 43-year-old El Dorado, Kansas man was traveling east on ND Highway 23 around 3:36 a.m., November 26, when he rear-ended a Kenworth truck also heading east. The Kansas man died of his injuries at the scene. The 34-year-old Westport, Washington driver of the truck was not injured. The crash closed a stretch of ND Highway 23 between ND Highway 22 and 104th Ave NWfor approximately three hours. The crash remains under investigation. Close Thanks for signing up!
