BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) - A mother and daughter are opening a new storefront in December near the corner of Perkins Road and College Drive.
Michelle and Valencia Anderson plan to launch Crafted Nibbles BR, 4631 Perkins Road on Friday, Dec. 13.
They said the high-traffic area is "centrally located to serve various neighborhoods and workplaces around Baton Rouge."
The co-owners said it will be "Baton Rouge’s first build-your-own cheese box bar."
The duo said the bar will offer "artisan cheeses, charcuterie, and a variety of accompaniments like local honey, jams, seasonal fruits and nuts." There will also be a cheese of the month and drinks include mocktails, sparkling water and lemonade.

The business started in 2021, and the pair offered curated charcuterie boards and boxes at catering events and online.
"Crafted Nibbles was born out of a desire to create something meaningful together as a mother-daughter team," Michelle and Valencia Anderson said.
Even then, they had an eye on the future. "Opening a brick-and-mortar location has always been part of our vision, giving us a dedicated space where customers can experience Crafted Nibbles in a more interactive setting."
Customers will be able to make their orders in store or online. The owners also plan to continue providing "catering services for special events, gatherings and corporate needs."
The store will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Michelle and Valencia Anderson said, "Crafted Nibbles is designed to be a welcoming and relaxed space where you can create your own cheese box or enjoy our carefully curated options."
