Nov 25, 2024
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Santa Claus is going to be flying into Fresno's River Park this weekend; but, instead of his sleigh, he'll be taking a helicopter.
According to the River Park Shopping Center, Mr. Claus will be arriving at 9 a.m. Friday to kickstart the holiday season. He will be available until 10 p.m. for pictures.
Once the sun goes down, the holiday light show starts. The nightly event takes place on the half-hour at the holiday tree from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Organizers say "Mr. and Miss Mouse" will also be there to join Santa from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Several other holiday characters will be visiting the park in the days around Santa's arrival, including:
Moana on Nov. 27
The Grinch on Nov. 30
Anna and Elsa on Dec. 6
Buddy the Elf on Dec. 7
Mr. and Miss Mouse on Dec. 3
The Grinch on Dec. 14
