Officer dragged by car during pursuit of suspect in Rome

Rome, N.Y. — A Rome man drove away from police trying to stop him this weekend, dragging an officer two blocks, according to Rome police.On Sunday, police were looking for the man, Lindell M. Reed, to check on his welfare. They had received information that he had been using drugs and alcohol for several days without sleeping and was acting extremely erratic.
