Temps tumbling today with an arctic blast coming

The first wave of colder temperatures has arrived, with highs today in the 40s. Bitterly cold temperatures will arrive by the end of the week, and we will start December with highs in the 20s.
It will be chillier today with a high in the lower 40s
It will be windy at times this morning with gusts up to 25 mph and temperatures in the upper 30s by noon.
Winds will be gusty times this afternoon
It doesn't get much warmer this afternoon with high temperatures topping out in the lower 40s which is nearly a 20-degree drop from yesterday afternoon.
It will stay chilly overnight with increasing clouds and a low in the lower 30s.
Most of the energy Wednesday night and Thursday stays to the south of our area
A powerful cold front will move in the northwest on Wednesday afternoon and evening bringing a chance of rain mixing with snow by early evening with no significant accumulation expected.
We won't see a drastic drop in temperatures for Thanksgiving day with a high around 40 under mostly cloudy skies.
Even though it will be dry on Friday there will be a drastic change in temperatures with bitterly cold air and high temperatures tumbling into 20s.
The arctic air sticks around through the weekend with highs in the 20s.
Don't expect any big changes for the first week of December with highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
