Homicide in north Austin leaves one man dead, APD says

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One man is dead after a homicide late Monday night in north Austin at the 400 block of East Wonsley Drive, according to the Austin Police Department. This is located near East Anderson Lane and the South Interstate 35 Frontage Road.
Officer Austin Zarling with APD said the homicide occurred just before 11:00 p.m. on Monday. APD did not say if this was a stabbing or shooting.
When officers arrived on scene they found a man inside an apartment between 20-30 years old with signs of trauma. After police and EMS tried to save his life he was pronounced dead on scene at 11:24 p.m.

APD said no suspect is in custody, and that this was a isolated incident. They also said that there is no known threat to the public.
