ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Pittsford Sutherland's Jamie Kotalik had quite the weekend. On Friday, she placed sixth at the state diving championships. On Sunday, she helped lead Sutherland's girls volleyball team to a state title. Kotalik's success as a multi-sport athlete makes her our Player of the Week. At the NYSPHSAA diving championships, Kotalik's sixth-place finish was the highest among Section V individuals, earning a total score of 455.05. In Sutherland's state title win over reigning champion Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, she earned 18 digs and seven assists. The 3-1 win marked Sutherland's first state title in 10 years, capping off Kotalik's successful weekend.
