FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - In exchange for spreading some holiday joy this season, Fresno residents will obtain a free sandwich from Houston TX Hot Chicken, the Fresno Fire Department said. The Fresno Fire Department announced on Monday they will be partnering with the Fresno Police Department, the Fire Chaplaincy and Houston TX Hot Chicken to bring holiday cheer to children and families at the Valley Children's Hospital. Firefighters say those who bring new, unwrapped toys to the Houston TX Hot Chicken restaurant located at 8482 N. Friant Rd., will receive a voucher for a free sandwich with each donation. The toy drive will be hosted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8.
