The boys were transported to a local hospital, where 13-year-old Donald Williams died. The 15-year-old had received a gunshot wound to the leg. Two days later, police issued a felony pickup for 19-year-old Jermall L. Campbell, who turned himself in on Monday. Campbell was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail and is facing charges of first-degree murder, two counts of criminal discharge of a firearm, three counts of aggravated assault, and one count of aggravated battery. Her bond is set at $350,000. KSN typically does not name individuals believed to be connected to a crime unless charges are filed. However, because Wichita police requested the public’s help, over concerns for public safety, KSN released the information.
