EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A 65-year-old man was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 24, Socorro Police said in an update issued on Monday night. Jose Guillermo Gamero, 65, who was riding the motorcycle, was the man who was killed in the crash, Socorro Police said. UPDATE: Motorcyclist killed in crash in Socorro The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The crash happened just before 1:45 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Socorro Road and Lisa Diane. Socorro Police said that the other vehicle, driven by a 52-year-old woman, was stopped facing south on Lisa Diane Road. The driver then attempted to turn east onto Socorro Road when her vehicle was struck by the motorcycle, police said. No one in the vehicle that struck the motorcycle was injured, Socorro Police said.
