Coast to coast storm could impact Thanksgiving travel
Nov 25, 2024
It will be a busy week weather-wise as millions of Americas hit the roads and the sky for Thanksgiving.
According to TSA, “TSA projects the three busiest travel days will be Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the Sunday after the holiday.”
The trouble spots on Tuesday will stretch from the Mid-Atlantic to the Northeast as a cold front moves across the east coast. Good news for travels, the rain should be in and out quickly. On Wednesday, most of the travel weather-wise should be okay outside of parts of Colorado due to snow.
If you’re getting a late start on Thanksgiving travel, Thanksgiving day looks to be messy. A powerful storm system will sweep across the east coast bringing rain to the south, snow to the north and gusty winds.
