MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Deputies arrested a convicted felon during a traffic stop on Sunday. The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office says Devyion Mylique Patterson was pulled over near the intersection of Brawley School Road and Williamson Road for traffic violations.
They say during a probable cause search of his Honda CRV, they found and seized approximately 11.5 grams of marijuana, a loaded Glock 19 semi-automatic handgun, and a loaded FN five-seveN semi-automatic handgun.
Patterson is a convicted felon actively on probation for previous weapons charges. Deputies arrested him and taken to the Iredell County Detention Center. He was issued a $10,000 secured bond.
Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell says, “This is a great example of the dedication our deputies show every day in removing illegal drugs and weapons from our streets. When convicted felons continue to disregard the law, our deputies remain committed to holding them accountable and ensuring the safety of our community.”
