ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Neighbors helping neighbors.
Monday, dozens of West Herr volunteers unloaded Thanksgiving meal donations at RBTL.
It's part of the company's annual food drive. Over 5,500 turkeys, and 5,000 bags of Thanksgiving related food items were handed out to organizations across Western New York, including here at home. Those groups are expected to distribute the items to folks in need.
The food was collected over the past month or so, at 40 different West Herr dealerships.

"Anybody who has been blessed in life, our company has been blessed with the support of this community," said President Scott Bieler. "I believe it's not something nice to do, it's an obligation to do - that we give back and show the community that, because we're here, and because they support us, we're making a difference that they can see every year."
