SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. (KRON) -- The Sonoma County Coroner's Office is still in the process of working with the families of two people whose bodies were found in flood waters over the weekend. Monday marked another break in the rain, and a chance to try and recover from the historic and deadly downpour in the North Bay. Crews hit the roads hard, clearing away debris clogging critical water ways. Santa Rosa faced more than a foot of rain during two atmospheric rivers last week. San Francisco watchdog Ricci Wynne arrested, suspected of pimping The heavy downpour caused extensive damage. On Thursday, a flooded intersection temporarily trapped 300 guests at a hotel and dozens of people visiting a nearby medical facility. On Saturday, flooding prompted first responders to reports of a trapped car off of River Road. One person was found and pronounced dead. Earlier in the day Saturday, another body was found in Piner Creek. With more rain possible later in the week, North Bay residents are taking advantage of an opportunity to clean up while they can.
