EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The city of East Providence has put out a request for bids for the construction of a new building at Crescent Park in Riverside. Mayor Bob DaSilva announced the city's plans for the new building in a social media post on Monday. RELATED: Crescent Park clam shack reopens According to DaSilva, the building will house the clam shack, new public restrooms, tent space for events, and the carousel's business office. The facilities will be built along Carousel Drive, behind the Crescent Park Carousel. The deadline to submit proposals is 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19.
