MONDAY FILM 20 Years In The Crypt: Embedded On Tour With Dead MoonNorthwest DIY legends Dead Moon take center stage in the 2006 documentary Unknown Passage: The Dead Moon Story, which chronicles the lives of reclusive, genre-bending, capitalism-be-damned rockers Andrew Loomis and Fred and Toody Cole, following the band on tour and at home as they “keep one gig ahead of a day job." The film's creators Jason Axel Summers and Kate Fix have edited 180 hours of unused footage to craft a brand new rock doc, Embedded on Tour with Dead Moon. This new film revisits performances the filmmakers captured on tour in 2001, offering BTS footage of "hanging out and traveling with the band." Filmmaker Jason Axel Summers and Toody Cole (of Dead Moon) will be in attendance for this screening, which is also the film’s US premiere. AUDREY VANN (Hollywood Theatre, Hollywood District)
