OKLAHOMA Co. (KFOR) - A dispute between neighbors in eastern Oklahoma County led to gunfire early Monday morning. “The car had been shot several times, and there was a person inside the vehicle that was bleeding,” said Aaron Brilbeck with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office.  According to Brilbeck, earlier two neighbors were fighting at a home on Covington Terrace, near Harrah Road and 122nd Street. One of the neighbors called over friends, driven by 21-year-old Marlon Wilson, for backup.  Neighbor dispute leads to shooting near Harrah, Image courtesy KFOR Former Stillwater dental assistant charged with sexually assaulting numerous patients—including minors, sharing footage online “One of the neighbors called some friends over to go to the other neighbor's home,” said Brilbeck. “The other neighbor comes out. We believe that he may have fired one round from a rifle, either at the car or at the ground to try to warn the vehicle. The person who was driving that vehicle backed out, but as he was pulling out, he pulled out a pistol and started shooting back multiple rounds at the other neighbor with the rifle.” During the course of the gunfire, a woman in the backseat was hit. “One of them is shot,” said the deputy at the scene. “Looks like on the side of her ribs.”   She was taken to the hospital. Fortunately, her injuries are not life-threatening.  Wilson was arrested. He’s facing charges for use of vehicle in discharge of a weapon, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and discharging a firearm in a public place.  However, the man who fired the rifle is currently not facing any charges.  “Under the Stand Your Ground law, it appears as though he was okay in shooting when he did shoot,” said Brilbeck. “But it's important to stress right now, we're still very early on in this investigation.”
