NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Krewe of Orpheus has announced the monarch for its 2025 parade and the headliner for its after-party. According to a news release, "Ru Paul's Drag Race" season six winner and New Orleans native Bianca Del Rio will serve as the krewe's monarch for the 2025 Orpheus parade. These New Orleans restaurants are open on Thanksgiving in 2024 Krewe members stated that the 2025 theme will be "As Above So Below" and roll with 43 floats. Following the parade is the Orpheuscapade after-party, where Grammy award-winning country duo Brothers Osborne will serve as the headliner. Christmas in the Park to return to Lafreniere Park for 2024 holiday season Organizers said other performers will include Groove Merchants, the Mixed Nuts and NOLA Super Group. The Krewe of Orpheus will roll at 6 p.m. on March 3, 2025.
