ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) - The Green Bay Packers' Thanksgiving home game has local establishments gearing up for a festive day, blending football and holiday traditions.
At Stadium View Bar and Grill, owner Amanda Watson expects a busy day but confirmed they will not be serving Thanksgiving meals to streamline operations.

“Everything's the same, other than the fact that we won’t be offering that Thanksgiving plated dinner,” said Watson. “Turkey Trot’s going to be coming right down our road, so Holmgren Way will be full of turkey trotters, which is always an awesome thing to see. We’ll have the doors open at 8 a.m.”
Stadium View’s sky bar will feature Christmas-themed decorations and remain open for fans until 2 a.m.
Meanwhile, the Resch Expo Center is offering fans a unique Thanksgiving gameday crossover with the Bart Starr Plaza Tailgate Party’s inaugural special Thanksgiving meal.
"If I was going to have a Thanksgiving dinner, I think this would really complete the menu for me,” said Terry Charles, corporate communications manager for PMI Entertainment Group. The meal will include traditional dishes like turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and assorted pies.
Charles noted that hosting Thanksgiving games at Lambeau Field is rare, making this event particularly special.

“It’s not often that the Packers host a Thanksgiving Day game,” Charles said. “We thought folks might have time to get the traditional Thanksgiving meal before the game, but this way, they don’t have to worry about it!”
The Thanksgiving dinner begins at 3:45 p.m. and wraps up before kickoff, allowing fans to fully enjoy the game.
