RADISSON, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in northwest Wisconsin are investigating a string of fires, with the most recent occurring on Saturday at DJ's Mart Gas Station in the village of Radisson. The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving a call about the fire at the gas station, located on State Highway 27/70. 17-year-old killed in early morning single-vehicle crash in Wisconsin When crews arrived, smoke and flames were visible from the eaves on the west side of the building. Although firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze, the fire caused extensive damage to the structure. The gas station was unoccupied at the time of the incident as it occurred outside regular business hours. This fire is the latest in a series of structure fires reported in the area over the past week. The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation are conducting an investigation into the incidents.
