CEDARBURG, Wis. (WFRV) — A 17-year-old boy from Cedarburg died in a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning, according to the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities responded to a report of a crash on Bridge Street, west of Granville Road, in the town of Cedarburg. Appleton police release details on Sanders Street homicide Preliminary investigations indicate the teen was traveling west on Bridge Street at a high rate of speed when his vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch, and struck a tree line on the north side of the road. The crash is estimated to have occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m., but it was first discovered by a passerby shortly before 7:45 a.m. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
