Fort Wayne man sentenced to 16 years for child porn distribution

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- A Fort Wayne man was sentenced in federal court Monday after pleading guilty to Conspiracy to Advertise and Distribute Child Pornography.
35-year-old, Samuel Hicks, faces 16 years in prison followed by a 10-year supervised release after pleading guilty to a 2022 crime.
According to the release from the United States Department of Justice, between the months of January to March, Hicks posted images of videos of child sexual abuse on a website, which then distributed the materials.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation alongside the Allen County Sheriff’s Department Crimes Against Children Task Force, and the New Haven Police Department.
