Domestic altercation turns violent, say Newberry County deputies

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Newberry County Sheriff’s Office says on Monday afternoon, Nov. 25, a domestic altercation on Wilson Road turned violent.
Deputies say an argument between three people in regard to a domestic matter resulted into gunfire and a woman receiving injuries.
Also, the sheriff’s department says a suspect’s vehicle was identified and stopped by a sheriff’s office deputy at the Country Peddler.
Which led to someone being taken into custody.
The Newberry City Police Department in collaboration with the sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate the incident.
